Say hello to Lorena…
Lorena is originally from a culturally diverse and tropical country called Panama. She came to the United States in 2015 to study and is currently living in Rosemead, California. She decided to attend Cal State LA because she likes the diversity that CSULA has in its students. It makes her feel at home, being surrounded by people of different culture, which was similar to her hometown in Panama. She chose Accounting as her major because she likes playing with numbers and problem solving. Her analogy of Accounting is “It is like investigating a case where you collect all the numbers as your evidence and use it to figure out the truth”.
During her free time, she likes to watch TV shows and keep up with the latest fashion trend.
Aside from developing her career, one of her goals is to be recognized by others and becoming a role model to them.
